Bad things are happening in Trump's US

 I read the following, and having heard the news from other parts of the US, thought I was reading some American's daily blog:

“Terrible things are happening outside. Poor helpless people are being dragged out of their homes. Families are torn apart. Men, women, and children are separated. Children come home from school to find that their parents have disappeared.”

Yes. Bad things are happening here now.

People are being dragged away from churches, schools, workplaces, and homes. Very much like the SS or Gestapo "following orders" against Jews and the " enemies within" of the Nazis.

ICE has become the American Gestapo. Hispanic children are not safe from them. They can be literally kidnapped on their way to school.

Their appearances are nationwide and are being noticed by alert citizens

Essentially the Constitution has been discarded- even removed from the White House webcite.

And various Constitutional Rights are being trashed for ethnic cleansing.

Finally, Catholic Bishops are beginning to condemn this...after helping put him and Republicans in power as Trump orders ICE to raid churches, hospitals, and schools in search of hispanic immigrants. 

Dejavu of Kristallnacht.

Other "religious conservatives", the paid for talking heads of Fox, and Republicans come to his defense.

And Elon Musk is using the Roman/Nazi salute before crowds...as the "conservative" leader of Israel ironically defends him.

The US has, in the space of a week, become a human rights hellhole, with even Constitutional Rights such as "freedom from unreasonable search and seizure" gone- the Fourth Amendment

That isnt all. Government agencies such as NIH and the FDA are now censored and politicized. The guiding principle of anything the US government is responsible for is corporate capitalism. Greed.

Science has taken not the back seat, but been stuffed in the trunk;  and the public left to the mercy of a free market with no safety mechanisms other than profit- that includes health care and food.

A serious consideration: in light of censored and politicized quality and safety measures in all government agencies, and corporate capitalist greed driving the US government, is it dangerous to consume meat of any kind?

BSE, Avian flu are real possibilities from consuming infected meat products. 

We have had outbreaks of salmonella and lysteria in the food suply in recent times that were identified and controlled. But now with no quality control or data collection occuring there is no safety net. And since the standards regulating US food supply are now questionable or non existant how do consumers know?

The same holds true for infectious diseases. We will not see the next pandemic coming til it is killing millions.

The US is now officially a third world country.
