Acts 5
Yesterdays first Mass reading from Acts 5 was powerfully prophetic: "The high priest rose up, and all who were with him (that is, the party of the Sadducees), and filled with jealousy they arrested the apostles and put them in the public prison. But during the night an angel of the Lord opened the prison doors and brought them out, and said, 'Go and stand in the temple and speak to the people all the words of this Life.' And when they heard this, they entered the temple at daybreak and began to teach."
Later this was the news:
A Palestinian student at Columbia is freed after his arrest at a citizenship interview
I rejoiced.
Not all Christians are hate filled bigotted Trump supporters. Many of us actually dont want to be identified as the same as those anti immigrant white supremists who hate Judaism but support Zionist genocide.
Zionism is to Judaism what Christian Nationalism is to Christianity: apples and oranges. Not the same.
We do not hate immigrants or support their mass deporatation, or support racism, genocide, or discrimination.
We dont attend churches but pray at home and follow the teachings of Jesus and the Torah.
