Opposing an unjust and tyrannical goverment

 We have seen those who protested Israeli genocide/expressed pro palestinian sentiments arrested; and people refused entrance to the US based on prior social media posts unfavorable of Trump.

We have seen people arrested for peaceful protests against ICE. Notably today a Mayor.

Yet we also saw violent insurrectionists/pro Trump protestors pardoned by the President and referred to as "patriots."

There is either a Constitutional Right to free assembly, addressing grievances to government, free speech or there us not. Favoring one type of speech while punishing another is not free speech.

We have seen people dragged out of their homes by masked men who refused to identify themselves/ICE agents and renditioned to foreign prisons with zero due process. 

There is either a Constitutional Right to be free from unreasonable search and seizure or there is not. 

There is either a Right to Due Process or there is not.

As things stand no one is secure in their homes.

But as the book "Animal Farm" says "some animals are more equal than others"...for now.

Serious question to ponder: IF we have all this alleged "freedom" in this corporate hellstate, how is it that we have to expect to be arrested for protesting injustices? People are arrested and deported for speaking their mind. Dragged from their homes. So how is that "freedom?"

It isnt.

We are just as free as people in Russia, Iran, Afghanistan... All the bullshit about how "free" we are is just propaganda. This is why I dont respect the flag, do "the pledge",or see any of this as anything other than what it seems to be: an arbitrary authoritarian state.

And that should scare the Maga people. Precedents are being set that void the basic Rights we have assumed were ours for 200 plus years. Just as in any third world dictatorship those who support the current dictator and his cronnies assume they are safe. That is a momentary and fleeting delusion.

"The Fool says 'I am safe'"

The day inevitably comes that the pendulum swings backward, and a reaction to one form of oppression establishes another. And those taking a beating now will hold the reigns of power and priveledge. 

That has been a recurring drama throughout human history. No thousand year Reich lasts a thousand years...the guillotines are rolled out in the end.

Those of us who vehemently oppose the brutal, unethical, immoral, and unconstitutional actions of the Trump government must find common ground to remove this man and this abberation. And save our country and its Constitution.
